  • How does it work?

Weekly menus at On The Road Meals are posted on Mondays. For Sunday delivery, place your order by 9 am Friday. For Wednesday delivery, place your order by 9 am Monday. All deliveries are completed between 3 pm and 9 pm.

  • What is your pricing?

The price for your meals greatly depends on the size of the meals and number of meals you purchase. There is also a small checkout fee. Price of meals can vary from $10-14, and large portions run an extra $3-4 per meal. We offer a 5% bulk discount with orders over $100, 10% with orders over $150, 15% with orders greater than $225, and 20% with orders over $300. You may also choose from numerous “a la carte” options that let you mix and match and purchase cooked food in bulk quantity- this menu will change weekly. Tipping is always appreciated but never required!

  • What are the macros and calories?

You can select from our “regular” sized options and “large” options for meals. The large size costs $3-4 more per meal. Regular portions run an average of 500-600 calories per serving, and the macro split is approximately 4/3/3. Large portions usually run between 800-900 calories with an approximate macro split of 4/3/3. New to our menu are popular Fit-2-Go options (F2G) that are smaller meal sizes of about 300-400 calories each with a macro split of 4/3/3.

  • What is Waste Not AZ?

Waste Not Arizona is a local organization whose mission is to provide food for families in need. As many as 1 in every 4 children in Arizona will go to bed hungry every night. And together, we can help! Every year, we’re pleased to donate meals to this charity to help combat food hunger in our area. You can be a part of this rewarding effort by donating- reach out to us for more details.

  • How do you store your food?

All of our meals are freshly cooked and can be kept in the fridge for five to seven days. You can enjoy your meal reheated or eaten cold. Meals are always best when eaten fresh, but you can also choose to freeze them. If you choose to freeze, we recommend you pull the meal out the day before eating and thaw in your fridge overnight. On the day of eating, you can reheat in a microwave prior to consuming, although we do not recommend this for any salads. Feel free to contact us for recommendations on which items freeze the best.

  • Why choose meal prep?

There are so many benefits with using meal prep! The biggest advantage is that it saves you so much in preparation time throughout the week! It’s convenient for delivery, and you can pick and select what you order. Our meal selections are always healthy, balanced meals, so there is no guilt while it also prevents you from the cost of eating out. It can also reduce food waste, as you won’t have those leftover veggies pushed back in your fridge. And, you don’t have to do dishes!

  • Do you offer diet varieties?

Each of our menu dishes will show what customizations are available. Each dish will indicate whether they are gluten-free, dairy-free, etc. Other customizations are not available. Our kitchen is not considered a “gluten-free” kitchen, so there may be traces of gluten particles in the air, just as you get in a grocery store. For liability purposes, we do not claim to be gluten-free.

  • Do you reuse containers?

No, we do not take back any containers, but you can reuse and recycle the containers on your own! There is a safety concern involved in bringing back containers so much that it’s against federal guidelines for production when doing so.

Some fun ways to reuse containers include:

    • Use as a pot for a plant!

    • Use for your kid’s science project.

    • Keep in your car and collect loose change.

    • Organize your drawers.

    • Clean and use for leftovers for parties.

    • Always recycle if possible! ♻️
